Monobrau a.k.a. Sebastian Kox

I'm a new media artist based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Under my alias Monobrau I produce knitted artworks.

For a decade, I've been creating immersive artworks as the art director at oneseconds collective. Our work draws inspiration from human behavior and the relationship between humans and technology, serving as both muse and medium. We strive to create accessible and engaging forms that appeal to a wide audience while also fostering meaningful conversations.

When we decided to stop as an art collective in 2022 I joined Theater Utrecht's Innovation:Lab. Here, I assist fellow artists in navigating complex technical challenges for their performances and installations.
